Looking ahead to next year, use this to help you brainstorm one to three of the highest value thing(s) you can do to enhance your leadership. Consider any or all of the following things that have heart for you:
1. Something you definitely want to start doing, stop doing, change the way you do, or continue doing.
2. Something you can enlighten yourself about by asking challenging questions—such as, “What are people NOT telling me, or reluctant to tell me, that I really need to know?” and “How am I getting in my own way, or the way of others?”
3. Something you can do for others.
4. Something you can do for your community.
5. Something large or small you can do to make the world a better place.
6. Something you can do to develop yourself, and/or to learn a new skill.
7. Something you care about deeply but never got to do / address / spend time on in 2010.
8. Something to realign yourself with a dream or hope you’ve had but set aside.
9. Something that can help you balance the many elements of life (work, family, friends, health, community, giving back, spirituality, learning, etc.)
10. Something that aligns or realigns your organization and people most directly/exactly with your highest values.
