Just as there's no shortage of negativity during the toughest times, there's an equal measure of strength to be found. True leadership in such adversity means expanding your awareness to recognize greatness—large and small—all around you. Take a hard look at what is thought to be "bad," and find the good. Sometimes it's a smile, attitude, or skill hiding in plain sight. Grab it, and you can shift resignation into possibility, darkness to humor, or even fear to gratitude. Face your crisis by finding the good, and you upgrade your own strength and resilience, which will serve you and others forever after.
